Why I started Viva Holistic Health

For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by health and wellness. Growing up with doctors as parents, I was exposed to conventional medicine and healthcare from a young age. After years of struggling with my own health concerns while attending graduate school and working in the banking and asset management industries, I discovered that conventional medicine alone failed to provide patients with preventative healthcare. I became very curious about holistic medicine and how shifts in lifestyle, such as diet and exercise, could complement conventional medicine to improve health in the short term and promote lifelong wellness.

I began incorporating low impact movement into my routine, practicing mindfulness to manage stress, removing toxins from my environment, and nourishing my body properly with whole foods. Throughout this journey, I found that I felt more mental clarity, more energized, and overall better in my body.

My Philosophy

This self discovery motivated me to leave my career in finance with the pursuit to help other women who are experiencing weight gain, fatigue, or poor mental health, so they may enhance their quality of life and prevent the possibility of chronic disease in the future. The goal for myself and other women is to not only live longer, but to feel vibrant and energized so we may truly enjoy life longer, to its fullest potential!
